Introduction

Our association brings together 700+ individual members from more than 85 countries, who work in the public, private and non-profit sectors. Our members share a common interest in international cooperation to enable our vision to make our cities and regions more sustainable through planning and placemaking practice, training, research, and education.

Anyone who has the education and/or experience to practice city and regional planning as:

Fees

ISOCARP has a single, individual membership category. We encourage you to join the Society for multiple years at a discount and authorise a

continuing automatic direct debit from their credit card, to be paid on the anniversary of their joining.

  • 3-years Membership: €155

     

  • 5-years Membership: €250

Introduction

ISOCARP counts around 40 institutions among its members that actively contribute to the global community of the professional city and regional planners. As part of place-based policies and programs, city and regional plans are developed in organisations that employ most of the world’s planners.

Who is eligible?

Anyone who has the education and/or experience to practice city and regional planning as:

  • Multilateral agencies

  • National, regional and local governments and their agencies

  • Educational and research institutions

  • Professional and academic institutes and associations

  • Non-government policy and advocacy organisations

  • Technical, research, and consulting corporations.

  • Planning and housing agencies, cities, universities

Institutional members can connect with resources, partners, and collaborators addressing common issues and problems.

Institutional members can reach a global audience, marketplace, and employment market.

Institutional Members may participate in, contribute to and benefit from the activities of the ISOCARP Institute.

Fees

  • Platinum Membership: €1500 per year.
    Platinum members may maintain their own page on the ISOCARP website, organise a session at the World Planning Congress, receive support for active involvement in the activities and programs of the Society, and pay a reduced entry fee for the Awards of Excellence. The membership fee includes ten Individual Memberships of the Society and three free registrations to the World Planning Congress.
  • Gold Membership: €1000 per year.

    Institutional members may maintain their own page on the ISOCARP website, receive support for active involvement in the activities and programs of the Society and pay a reduced entry fee for the Awards of Excellence. The membership fee includes six Individual Memberships of the Society and two free registrations to the World Planning Congress.

  • Silver Membership: €500 per year.
    Institutional members may maintain their own page on the ISOCARP website, receive support for active involvement in the activities and programs of the Society and pay a reduced entry fee for the Awards of Excellence. The membership fee includes two Individual Memberships of the Society and one free registration to the World Planning Congress.
